It was date night for Khloé Kardashian and Lamar Odom on Monday night.
The couple – who are new parents to a boxer puppy – stepped out for dinner at Scott Conant’s Scarpetta restaurant at the Montage Beverly Hills.
“They were very lovey-dovey and sat very close to each other through out the meal,” an onlooker tells PEOPLE.
The pair cozied up at their table while indulging in Italian dishes and wine.
On Wednesday, Kardashian wrote on her blog, “No matter how busy our schedules get, Lamar and I always make sure we find time for date nights just the two of us.”
She continued, “The food was delicious and it was just so nice having a romantic evening out with my hubby.”

Are Khloe and Lamar headed for splitsville? No way! In the new issue of Us Weekly, Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom put to rest false reports of major marital strife in their three-year marriage.
“Yes, we bicker,” Khloe, 28, conceded to Us in a recent joint interview. “but we make sure to never go to bed angry.” Added L.A. Clippers forward Odom, 33: “This girl is going to make you talk it out! Trust me!”
In the extended sit-down with Us, Kim and Kourtney’s sister and Odom reveal how they’ve worked out some of their more difficult disagreements, how they find time amid their busy schedules — and how things are going, ahem, in the bedroom.
“We love each other so much,” Odom says. “And sex is fun!” adds Kardashian. “Sex is great,” Odom clarifies. “It’s on a high level. It’s intense!”

Khloé Kardashian Odom and hubby Lamar don’t need a special day to show each other some love.
The X Factor host chatted with E! News about her Valentine’s Day plans with her husband of three years, and she revealed that the adorable twosome don’t have a big date night on the books.
And it’s because Lamar’s playing basketball on Feb. 14.
“Well, I am a big holiday person, but I don’t stress…I think a lot of people put a lot of emphasis on Valentine’s Day and it almost makes their boyfriend or husband or significant other maybe feel a little bit nervous” the reality star told E! News last night at the Girls for a Change event in NYC.
Khloé continues, gushing over the love and appreciate her basketball beau shows her every day:
“I am very blessed and lucky. Lamar will out of the blue just send me flowers just because he’s like ‘I miss you’ while he’s on the road or whatever,” she says of her doting hubby. “I don’t want you to feel obligated to get me something because it’s Valentine’s Day.”
And because of their busy schedules, the cute couple cherishes the moments they can spend together, especially because they’ve grown accustomed to spending time apart:
“Lamar does have a game on Valentine’s Day in L.A., which, I’m used to; he typically has a game every holiday” the E! star admits. “But I wish people didn’t put so much emphasis on that, there shouldn’t be one day out of the year where you’re like, ‘Oh I love you let’s go to dinner and have candlelight.’ I want that to be like every day. And it should be,” she adds with a smile.
“It’s still fun and we’ll get each other a card or flowers or something like that but it’s more mellow for us.”

Khloe Kardashian is finally ready to talk about her struggles to conceive a child with husband Lamar Odom.
Appearing on Good Morning America September 13 with her sisters Kim, 31, and Kourtney, 33, the 28-year-old E! reality star admitted she “never knew all the difficulties” associated with trying to get pregnant.
“My mom has so many kids, and Kourtney pops them out like a PEZ dispenser, so you think it’s, like, so easy,” Khloe explained. “You realize it’s not as easy as you might think.” (Kourtney has a son, Mason, 2, and a daughter, Penelope, 2 months, with partner Scott Disick.)
On the September 9 episode of Keeping Up With the Kardashians, Khloe visited a fertility clinic with Kim. While there, Odom’s wife learned she didn’t ovulate that month — meaning a possible pregnancy was more than a month away. “It was really hard to show what I was going through,” Khloe admitted on Good Morning America. ”I feel like I’m helping a lot of people, but I’m still figuring it out for myself.”
“I do appreciate Kim pushing me to do that, because I was kind of like, ‘I just don’t want to know.’ You do have to know,” she added. “Kim made a good point: ‘You can’t run from your problem.’ So it’s better to know what’s going on.”
Since the episode was filmed, Khloe has continued to undergo fertility treatments. “It’s trial and error. You got put on hormones and see if they work, and if they don’t, you move to the next step,” she told anchor Lara Spencer. “There will be a part two coming up to this season, which airs this Sunday. You will find out more of the in-depth treatments that I’ve been doing, but it’s really trial and error.”
Khloe and Odom, 32, wed in September 2009 after a one-month engagement.
